Olivon swing out adapter

Hello,

I am about to buy the Olivon swing out adapter (thanks for the review Rob), it looks like a nice piece of kit and a lot more realisticly priced than the others Anyone who has one can you answer this, does it have a catch to hold it back when walking with it attached or can you set some sort of pressure on the hinge to stop it moving about when the tripod is on your shoulder (mine always is)

Yes there is - there is a small grub screw that can be tightened to hold it into place, you then undo this to swing out the adapter,
