Good cheap trypod for olivon T90
HI folks
just joined this forum and new to digiscopeing i have the olivon T90 scope
and find it a little bit on the heavy side as i have ostio/areritusin the small
of my back so i need a trypod that i can take on my scooter it must be cheap
as i have spent quite bit on scope& nikon P5100,

Hi Snapper I have an opticron carbon tripod they are not cheap but i triad my opticron scope on some cheap tripods and the head seems to flex to much with the weight of the scope and camera . go and try your scope on a few 1st. I go out on my scooter with my scope and tripod and it works very well if you would like to see my set up go to http://rascal.forumotion.com hope you sort out a tripod let use know how you get on. Be very careful with the cheap tripids for Digiscoping, a sturdy tripod is one of the most important pieces of equipment you need, I have had a few which seemed fine but with the slightest breeze almost every picture had blur of some degree! Try searching ebay for the Calumet tripod legs (around £20 - £30), these are a good price and then you can get a decent head for about £30 also. I see they have a complete outfit for £70 on.

cheap trypod

Thanks for your help Scooter & ds62 i have now got my trypod i went for a manffrotto
190xb with a 3 way pan & tilt verry sturdy for my needs.
